  • Knowledge of Studio, Live, Location and Post Production Sound Mixers both analogue and digital, including significant use of Yamaha digital consoles.
  • Experienced in setting up, micing and mixing bands, orchestras and vocals for TV and Live performance as well as experience in recording.
  • Location recording and boom operating.
  • Extensive use of audio software including: Pro Tools and Wavelab
  • Significant computer experience, including building and repairing with knowledge of computer programmes e.g. MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Cool Edit Pro (Adobe Audition)

  • The Snowman, Peacock Theatre, London (November 2007 – January 2008) – Sound Engineer / Operator
  • Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London (February 2006 – November 2007) – Sound Engineer
    • Sound Design and FOH operation during Operas and Ballet (SFX, off stage amplification, etc.)
    • General maintenance of sound systems in the theatre
    • Involved with the in house High Definition Broadcast Centre
    • In June / July 2007 I was the number 2 sound operator for the musical Into The Woods, which was performed at the Opera House and also in The Quays theatre in Manchester. Working with a top West End sound designer and operator I gained some more excellent musical theatre experience.
  • P&O Cruises aboard Arcadia (April 2005 – November 2005) – Deputy Production Manager
    • Sound Technician for the entertainment venue. This involved productions such as Classical Concerts (String Quartet, Piano, Flute and Guitar), Cabarets, Jazz, Blues and Big Band Nights (with the ships orchestra), comedy shows, presentations etc.
    • This also involved basic lighting.
    • Sound Technician for various cabarets and Jean Ann Ryan musical productions in the main 700 seat theatre.
    • Overseeing 4 technicians for the running of the other venues aboard the ship.
  • Freelance sound technician (October 2004 – April 2005)
    • Live and Pre-recorded television programmes (see below for examples of some shows I worked on)
    • Various conferences at London Hilton and Grosvenor Hotels
  • Sun Cruises aboard the Sunbird (May 2004 - October 2004) - Sound and Light Technician
  • Thames Television / London Playout Centre (August 2000 - May 2004) - Sound Operator / Engineer
